We are happy to discuss organized group cultural programs, for groups of five or more people. Popular programs include the Docent Guided tour, the Tea Ceremony, or the combined Tea Ceremony and Kimono Wearing Demonstration. Note that any of these must be arranged ahead of time, and the Kimono Wearing Demonstrations is dependent upon the demonstrator’s availability.  Please reserve at least two (2) weeks in advance.

Prices for students up to 17 years old  (requires student identification):

• Docent tour - $6.50
• Tea ceremony - $9
• Tea ceremony and kimono demonstration - $12
• Docent tour and tea ceremony - $13
• Docent tour, tea ceremony and kimono demonstration - $16
  

NEW program for children 5 - 10 years old:
 -  Origami / Storytelling program maybe available during weekdays.  Please inquire at the office.   Fee includes materials. Requires at least 10 children. Chaperons free.  Can be combined with a docent tour and chaperon pays for tour only.

Deposit of $25 must be received two weeks prior to desired date.

Fees include admission and parking (fees subject to change without notice).
* Minimum number of people: 5 people for tour, 5 adults or 10 students for tea ceremony.
* The final number of participants must be confirmed and full payment received one week prior to the event.

Applicant hereby agrees to hold the Hakone Foundation, its Trustees, the City of Saratoga, its City Council, the individual members thereof, and all the officers, agents and employees free and harmless from any loss, damage, liability, cost or expense that may arise during or be caused in any way by such use or occupancy of recreational facility. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that I will be personally responsible on behalf of the applicant for any damage sustained to the buildings, furniture, equipment or grounds, accruing through occupancy or use of the facility by the applicant. Any lost equipment or damages shall be compensated. I hereby certify that I have read and understand the Park Use Policy and will abide by any special conditions herein and set forth. I certify that the intended use is in compliance with said rules and regulations, application instructions and any specific use regulations subject to advance payment of all fees.
