Becoming a member means you are given a wonderful opportunity to participate and be part of a dynamic community of friends, families, artists, musicians, and cultural leaders. Last year, the Hakone Foundation hosted one of the most eminent and influential Asian Art leaders in North America, Emily Sano, Director of the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. Being part of this special relationship between Hakone and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco is one of the many benefits you will enjoy.
Whether you become a member to enjoy Hakone's stunning beauty year around, or to become a part of a genuine community of people who love art, culture, and the friendships made by being among other creatively inspired people; please consider becoming a member and supporting this unique international cultural institution and creative community. In these lean economic times, many individuals donate a small portion of their professional time, such as legal, accounting, and medical expertise, for the fundraising auctions Hakone sometimes hosts during the year.
